Getting Started

Launch Apple AI

After installation, open Apple AI from your Applications folder or Spotlight search (⌘Space + "Apple AI"). The app will appear in your menu bar as a small AI icon.

Access the Interface

You can access Apple AI in two ways:

  • Global Shortcut: Press ⌘E from anywhere on your Mac
  • Menu Bar: Click the Apple AI icon in your menu bar

Choose an AI Assistant

When the interface appears, select your preferred AI assistant from the sidebar. Apple AI 2.0 supports:

  • ChatGPT
  • Claude
  • GitHub Copilot
  • Perplexity
  • DeepSeek
  • Grok

Start Chatting

Type your question or prompt in the input field at the bottom of the interface and press Enter. Each AI assistant maintains its own conversation history, even after closing and reopening the app.

Essential Features

Global Shortcut

Access Apple AI from anywhere with the global ⌘E keyboard shortcut. Press it again to hide the interface.

Always on Top Mode

Enable "Always on Top" from the preferences to keep the AI window visible even when clicking outside it. Perfect for referencing AI responses while working.

Model Switching

Quickly switch between different AI models by clicking on their names in the sidebar. Each model maintains its separate conversation context.

Pin Interface

Use the pin button to keep the interface accessible at all times. Perfect for ongoing conversations while working in other applications.
