Installation Steps

   Download Apple AI

   Visit our download page to get Apple AI. We offer both Free and Pro versions for macOS.

   Tip: Make sure to select the right version for your Mac (Apple Silicon or Universal) on the download page.

   Download the Application

   For the Free Version, select your Mac type (Apple Silicon or Universal) from the dropdown menu and click the download button. For the Pro Version, you'll be directed to our Itch.io page to complete your purchase.

   Install the Application

   Once downloaded, locate the file in your Downloads folder and follow these steps:

   1. Double-click the downloaded file to open it
   2. If it's a DMG: Drag the Apple AI icon to the Applications folder shortcut
   3. If it's a ZIP: Extract the file and move the Apple AI app to your Applications folder
   4. Eject the installation disk image if applicable

   First Launch & Security

   When launching Apple AI for the first time, macOS may display a security warning:

   1. Right-click (or Control+click) on the Apple AI app in Applications
   2. Select "Open" from the context menu
   3. Click "Open" when prompted to confirm
   4. Alternatively, go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and click "Open Anyway"
   Note: This security step is only needed the first time you launch the app.

   Setup & Configuration

   After launching Apple AI successfully:

   • The app will appear in your menu bar at the top of the screen
   • Click the icon to access the dropdown menu
   • Free version users will have immediate access to 5 AI models
   • Pro version users should follow the activation instructions received with their purchase

Intel Mac Specific Instructions

If you're using an Intel Mac, please follow these additional steps to ensure optimal performance:

   Download the Universal DMG - This version includes both Intel and Apple Silicon compatibility.
